Injecting Melons With Water

Was researching something on another site when I ran across mention of an old scam I haven't heard about in a long time; injecting melons with (unfiltered) tap water to make them heavier. Talk about making a fellah paranoid!

Injecting it with unfiltered water is better than injecting it with a poison (read about apples being injected in US of A years back)
For you Keshava, I will ask the fruit sellers to use filtered water

Does that make you feel less paranoid?

well, I have not heard about the water part, but they do inject colour in it for sure.
