If the arbitrage allows you, you could rent out babies elsewhere and then rent them out at the temple and even make some profit?

No shock to me. I hear that when you see a woman with a baby putting her hand to her mouth begging that she wants money for food for her baby, that baby might be rented or stolen.

It might be. It might also be sister's baby, or just part of the family. Sometimes, from the age of the girl holding the baby, it is fairly obviously not "hers".
