Wonder where OCI's are gonna fit in all this - I'll soon find out.
I think I've always been charged resident Indian citizen prices in the past but I've taken the attitude that I'm not going to sweat it if they charge foreigner prices - its a personal choice. -skk |

if they make me pay full fee for entry, so what? , I came to India to see this stuff no matter what.

This is the same in Brazil and Argentina for the national parks there. The difference is not as high as it is in India (5 Rs vs a 1000), but its still there.
I agree that the subjectivity of cost is not there as everyone is required to show a document (cedula) to prove nationality, but that won't happen in India as someone has pointed out earlier. Not everyone has identification. I didn't mind paying the extra for being 'un extranjero' because 'es lo que hay' (loosely translated to sab chalta hai / that's the way it is) |
