Thanks for the warning , point noted.

and sitting at my pc I did feel some dread,
now i am here and the worry seems funny,
forget fearing places, just fear the dunny!

I can understand why people get so piss... because things are different from where they come from.

No, it's because some places really are awful!

Or, at least seem to be on the day one happens to be there. Bad days happen.

That's really an interesting thread.

I'd like to add (based on experiences 10 years ago, and going back to the
region in a few weeks):
Kasol. - Full of loud Isrealis who only have party on their minds.

Not that I don't like a good party every now and then, I somehow enjoyed
Old Manali, though I stayed in Vashisht for the nights away from the hassle,
but Kasol was just too much.

Must add: the busride through the valley on top of the bus is awesome!

For me it's:
Agra & Bangalore

Yes Agra has the Taj and yes, it's a nice building but it's the persistent and aggressive touts that spoiled the place for me.

Bangalore because of the pollution; congestion (roads and for me, lungs); scams.

Have to admit, I like Delhi...

Cheers
