Do people try to sell you drugs,opium,etc?

I'm from Berkeley, California, and look it. Nobody ever offered to sell me drugs during a long trip to India back in 1991. I was exposed to carpet salesmen, a most persistent group.

Took me a few years to figure out how I could have a positive encounter with carpet sellers. In Turkey I boldly went shopping for the magic flying carpet, and filmed the wide variety of responses, all of which explained how carpets could fly. One of many highlights from that trip. No sale, but great video.
