Delhi airport Luggage thieves!!?!?!

Hi there,

I'm going to India on th 11th and a relative of mine just came back and told me that when they collected there luggage in Delhi after arriving there, the luggage had been riped into and some of there stuff had been stolen and had been taped with masking tape. They were told my other passengers that this is not unusual and sometimes the baggage handlers do stuff like that in Delh! Should I be concerned for my luggage???? Anyway of seal proofing my luggage!?!?

You could get a mesh cage (Pacsafe) which fits over any size backpack. I keep everything valuable with me as hand luggage when travelling and everything that goes out of my sight is combination padlocked and if they cut my bag up, they'll find dirty washing!. If you can't keep your eye on it, don't take it. If you take something that you have to constantly keep your eye on, send it home, 'cos you're missing the view if you don't!
