ATM Scam
A word of warning if you use ATMs
If you use ATMs to withdraw money from your bank account, please click on the link below and read. The link goes to "Snopes" which is a great website to check out things that float around the net whether or not they might be true. This one, unfortunately, is true. http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/atmcamera.asp Wanderer22 ![]() |

Scams everywhere!
I don't know if this particular scam has reached India yet but it just happened in my local high street in Southampton, England yesterday.
An observant student from the nearby university spotted it at an ATM of the HSBC bank, which I walk past almost every day. The police were called and the equipment was seized. A little too close for comfort! |

All Indian ATMs I have seen till now are airconditioned and guarded - fabulous. Not spotted any cameras yet though.
