the 3rd time ... there wasn't one. I met a lovely Swiss girl who told me about Jyoti Mahal in Delhi - heaven. Service, clean, huge rooms. central and smiling staff and aesthetically beautiful - shame is was for my last night.
You need not give so many opportunities! and also need not patronize them!!

If you find any body stealing your money, very next moment you should be considering changing of hotels.

Promoting or slagging off businesses is not usually this site's function; but I guess by now knowing the name and address of this establishment might be not unwelcome, so others will know to stay the @#$ away from there

(And sorry to hear of those lesser experiences, Caryn. Tends to sort of come with the field, I guess. Regretfully, and not that it should be such a natural thing. Hope you had an otherwise largely nice trip, as I think I had gathered from some other of your posts.)

There could be a thread here on the Forum explaining all the "Do's & Don'ts while traveling".

And it should include:
"Never ever bring any thing for any person with whom you have only business relationship! If you bring anything legally/illegally for any body, you would be putting your self in problem!!"

Here, the hotelier was charging for the room stay and services. At the most he could expect some tips but never any favor.

Kindly decline their request from them. All too often I have seen that the proffesional/ business and personal line is crossed. This is something that friends would normally ask people to do. Not your hotel.
Oh and I dont know why but if a police man catches you driving with alchohol then he may fine you. This happened to my friend. I dont know why because he was not drinking any of it. There was just quite alot for one person.
