Advice for the LONELY/SINGLE TOURIST---"Taj Mahal" Touts
yep, understood
thank you very much
thank you very much
You can buy the 2nd class day ticket at the station and seek out the train conductor and ask to upgrade to Sleeper class or AC if you so desire. Its not much more and for day trains they don't mind. Then you don't have to sit on wooden benches.
Why would you buy the 2nd class and then ask to upgrade? Why would you not go ahead and buy 1st class/AC/sleeper?

because these options have to be reserved in advance. however 2nd class ticket can be bought even if the train is standing on the platform... this tkt is not specific to a train, but to a destination/route. it is common to board with this tkt & ask the TTE on board for availability & try your luck...

This itinery must be aimed at people who walk briskly around the site with little awareness or care for what they are looking it.Red fort deserves more than 45mins as suggested, i would say closer to 90. The audio tour is pretty interesting and useful as signage is limited.
The taj also deserves more than an hour if you have more than an interest in taking some pictures and then leaving.
The Baby Taj is certainly worth a visit! Often very few tourists, beautiful gardens and a gorgeous monument.
To say all Indian arcitecuture is the same also must be one of the least wise things i have ever read on here.
