What is the best way to travel from Mt. Abu (or Abu Road) to Udaipur?
Hi all,
I just registered today with this forum and it is really amazing! Thank you all for so much great advice. I need to travel from Mt. Abu to Udaipur via car or bus (there are no direct trains). Has anyone done either of these options? Which would you recommend? If there is a nice bus do you know the details? If you have hired a driver to do this drive how much did it cost and was it more or less comfortable than traveling by bus? |

I've done it by bus. I think the journey was 6 hours.
I got the tickets through the hotel I was staying at. don't remember the price though. |

I did it by bus both directions and it was about 5 hours, including several stops along the way. We just bought tickets at the bus stand the day before leaving. As I recall, it was quite an easy journey.
