Visiting Rajasthan & Gujrat by road (SUV)

We are planning to visit Rajasthan & Gujrat from 10th Aug to 19th Aug (10 days)by our own car (SUV) from Delhi. Can anybody suggest bext route for this and is it right time to plan this visit.

"Gujrat" is a town in Pakistan. I think you mean the state Southwest of Rajasthan. It is usually spelt "Gujarat" and sometimes "Gujerat".

You will perhaps set new land speed records. The highlights of Rajasthan alone require ten days, perhaps more. The highlights of Gujarat require two weeks. It would be prudent on your part to outline your travel interests, no scratch that, give a rough itinerary of the places you would like to visit. Some of us can then cobble it to a finer texture.....The time of the year is just fine (western rajasthan has risk of flash floods and the Kutch region witnesses annual flooding). The rest of the region is slightly muggy but much more pleasant than April-June time frame.

...and what an off the beaten trail inclusion would that be into an otherwise rushed itinerary.
