Visiting Ajmer
Hi
We are going to Ajmer to see the Darga and pay our respects there. The last time we went (about 4 years ago) we were followed by some of the local gangs on bikes and the only way we could go in was when we paid their guy 500 ruppees. Mind you, in the end it was worth it as the "kingpin" kept all the beggars and touts away and we could pay our respects and leave. Do you have any suggestions on a safer way of getting there? Or do you know of a kingpin we can just pay and save ourselves the grief? |
