Udaipur to Mount Abu

Hey there,

Anyone have any experience to share about making a trip to Mt Abu from Udaipur? I was just wondering how convenient it is to head there since there aren't any trains available for the trip. I've heard and read that it's a place that should not be missed so I'm kinda keen to go if its not too much trouble.

Any suggestions/recommendations/advice on this?

Hi, I did this route in August last year. Mt Abu is about 6 hours from Udaipur by road. At that time they were widening the National Highway and the road condition was really really bad, plus the monsoon time. This work was expected to finish within 12 months. Don't know the current situation though. Mt Abu in itself is a nice hill station with plenty to do for at least 2 days. Not to be missed if you are near by and have time on hand.

thanks! I'm now deciding between mt abu or pushkar...
both seem tempting enough
