Try "The Park" restaurant: its not far from the tourist enclave around the lake, but likely to far to walk. Great food at great prices, including south Indian.

For a traditional Rajasthani meal you can goto Apni Dhani. Shiv Prakash Palace is one option for some great food in style.

Natraj for it's thalis .Near the bus stand.
Santosh dal bati bhojanalay at surajpole.
Sweet shops near jagdish mandir have good breakfasts of poha,kachori,samosa.Also the gulabjamuns and sweets are good.

great place is the restaurant Aroma near Sukhadiya Circle.
Also the Shikar Badi has great food although it is quite expensive.
