Udaipur-Ranakpur-Kumbalghar-Jodhpur?

Hello,

I'm in the middle of organising a trip with 3 friends to Delhi/Agra/Rajasthan in two weeks, and I'd like to ask for advise on the following:

On the way from Udaipur to Jodhpur, we'd like to fit in Kumbalghar (a little of the fort & nature reserve) and the temples of Ranakpur. As we have little time, I'd prefer to go on to Jodhpur in the evening of the same day.

What is the best way/ order to do these things?
I've seen on other threads here that taking a taxi from Udaipur to Ranakpur/Kumbalghar is the best option, but what about getting from there to Jodhpur?
I can't find information on trains going from Falna - does anyone know times of arrival and departure, and how long is it to Falna?
LP mentions there are express buses going to Jodhpur from Ranakpur, but when do these go?
Also, what is an easy and cheap way to get this permit from the forest department (necessary for the wildlife sanctuary) without passing by Kelwara? And to see any wildlife, is it necessary to go early morning, or can one see something (esp wolves) during the day?
Is it feasable to leave Udaipur in the early early morning, take a taxi to Kumbalgarh fort, visit it shortly, and then from there take a trip through the park (on horse/on foot) to Ranakpur, visit the temple and then go on to Jodhpur (and how?)?

Those who have been here or who know the area well, please let me know what you think! Any advise is welcome!

We went there over last X-mas. You're planning to do it in the right order, but the day would be very long this way. i would suggets doing it like this, but sleep in Ranakpur and drive on the next day. You can keep the car, or send it back to Udaipur and take the bus form Ranakpur next day.

What else did you do/see?

(Is het mogelijk om je persoonlijk te contacteren, voor verdere reistips of zo?)
