We have booked into the Lake Pichola Hotel because we have fond memories of having tea on the little balconies each morning over looking the lake. I know the lake has receded to not much more than an idea now. However, my concern it that I have heard that the Lake Pichola Hotel declined over the years and is no longer recommended in some guide books. Has anybody stayed there recently? Has its upkeep become its downfall? Please let me know if you have any information about the hotel. Thank you.

Lake Pichola
I stayed there couple of nights and it was lovely. I fell ill with flu and everybody was really friendly. Even the manager came to greet me. Laundry service good, wake up calls and room service also. There is a good internet place just opposite. Enjoy.
