Udaipur in June

How's the weather in Udaipur in June? When does the monsoon hit, and does it make a substantial impact on the heat?

To give some perspective, my wife and I are used to Indian summers, and will be spending most of June in Mumbai. But we are wondering how Udaipur would compare, especially as we have heard it can be quite beautiful (and romantic

) during the monsoon.

From what I've heard June is hot like the rest of Rajasthan and the monsoon doesn't reach until early to mid-July. Dry with hot winds at this time and temps in the high 40's. Not quite as hot as here, but unpleasant just the same. Maybe, the nights are cooler because of the influence of the lake.

In June month udaipur is very hot.Visit udaipur between Sep to Feb months.

Udaipur is still a better destination than many other cities of Rajasthan in this season!

Dont know whether you have visted Udaipur in june or not, but I was hot and humid in June. Right now it is raining regularly since couple of days
