Hi
Thank you. Was it clean? Bathrooms? Did have western toilets? Was there hot water? It says they have a terrace, is that where the restaurant is? What did you like?
Thank you for your time. When were you there?

I was there three years ago when the lake was dry and sooo glad to get a toilet lit that did not close on my back or spigots that had all kinds of give and rattle. Lots of hot watter, plenty of places to sit out. Do get room with lake view because it comes with a windowed alcove that is lovely for being quiet in. The restaurant has similar alcoves and live music and is open to the luscious night air. Everything was all clean and white an new when I was there, and an efficient handsome woman in a shalwar kimise was seen running about attending to things.

I tried to book a Lake View room at Jagat Niwas months ahead (mind you it was for New Years!) and none were available - so we are booked at Haveli on the Lake, which is more like a little private guesthouse - it had a great review on this site, and that is what I went on as there is no website. She sent me some pics though and it looks lovely and is right on the lake - Carol, the woman who owns it seems really lovely and helpful - and its reasonably priced I think about 2000 for the suite of 2 rooms with a private terrace on the lake. Anyway, we'll see what it's like!

Don't know Amet Haveli, but both Jagat Niwas and Haveli on the Lake are great! Both have western bathrooms i.e. toilets, spotlessly clean etc.
