Udaipur - 13 December onwards

Hi guys,

Really getting into this website, I'm finding it extremely useful in putting together the last pieces of my trip to India. REally was an excellent find.

Just wondering if any of u guys will be in Udaipur in or around the above dates? Keen to meet up with fellow travellers, only going to be in Udaipur for 4 days, myself and my partner.

Any one know the usual traveller hang out places in Udaipur? I'm hoping that I find it relaxing and enjoyable and don't run out of things to do.

Thinks everyone.

Maz

You'll have no trouble meeting other tourists, either at your hotel or somewhere like in the vicinity of the Jagdish Temple in the centre of town.
Though if you want to meet/talk with others it might be you who'll have to make the first move,,,,
Theres a cross roads from the square you can explore in all directions, theres numourous things to see in the daytime , sunset and dancing in the evenings.
Put a few key words in our seach box & click go, Theres tons of information there,
You won't run out of things to do,,,,,,,,,,

As seventies'hippy says, you will find a lot of fellow travellers in the Jagdish Temple area of the city where there are lots of small hotels and guest houses.

Lalghat GH is a good place to stay - they have a courtyard with a long table where people sit around reading, writing, eating, whatever - easy to get into conversation.
