| Travel to Ranthambore We shall be travelling to Ranthambore next week by car from Delhi. Can some one suggest the best route to follow.Also How long will it take by car. Thanks in advance |

| You may opt for Delhi-Gurgaon-Bhiwadi-Alwar-Rajgarh-Sikandra-Dausa-Lalsot-Ranthambore route. It is around 400 KMs and you can cover it in 8 Hrs.

| iam also travelling to ranthambore any info on the road conditions i have heard that road from tonk onwards is very bad till may 2008. please can we share info my email id is amanforpeace@rediffmail.com |

| This is mostly Toll Road.....and road quality is excellent except may be at Dausa-Lalsot stretch which is some 30 KMs. or so... But even that's not bad. You'll enjoy it ! |

| travdoc, Upto Alwar, you'll find good places...from Sikandara it's rural Rajasthan....so nothing great. Since you are with kids, I'll advise you to carry some eatables with you (Chips & soft drinks are available everywhere). |

| Thanks, Delhiwala. Route suggested by you was execllent except a small stetch of about 30 kms from Dausa to Lalsot as mentioned by you. We covered Gurgaon to Ranthombore in about 6 hrs 40 mts. Thanks for your help. |

| thanks dilliwala u were so right we really enjoyed the drive though there are bad patches when the highway passes between the villages but had a great time thanks for your valuable time and advice. |

| Hi Travellingdoc, I am planing for Ranthambore by car on 21st Nov. Please let me know about the road condition whether seperated lane from Rajiv Chowk, Gurgaon till Sikandra? Should I try this route with my small wagonR? Please suggest me urgently. Best regards, Ranjeet |
