Train from Jaipur to Jaisalmer

Hi, Planning to take train from Jaipur to Jaisalmer.

From Jaipur to Jodhpur (train #2645) starts 6PM and reachs 11 PM JOdhpur then connecting train # 4810 is at 11:25 would reach jaisalmer morning 6:00 AM.

Does the connecting train coming from Jaipur be on time 11:00 PM or it always runs slow or delayed most of the time???

All this circus as the direct train from jaipur to jaisalmer reachs morning 1:00 PM.

Also trains to jaisalmer for Dec end( 22-28) are full and in waiting-list 20/25.. what are the chances of getting confirmation

There is a train, Jaipur-Bikaner Intercity (2s class only) that is also the overnight train from Bikaner to Jaisalmer, in other words, the same carriages are used for both trains, though a Sleeper Class carriage is added at Bikaner.

So, even if the intercity is late, you can't miss the overnight train.

I've no time to check for times or train numbers, but the intercity arrives at Bikaner at about 22:30, so it maybe departs Jaipur at about 17:00, and the overnight train to Jaisalmer gets to Jaisalmer at about 05:00-05:30.
