Tour of Rajasthan

Has anyone been on the Direct Holidays 8 days 7 nights tour of Rajasthan visiting Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner and Jaipur, I was wondering what sort of hotels they would use as there is a two night stay in each city bar Jaipur which is a one night stay, we are going in April and would like to know what to expect.

Surely not in that order.

Is it a 'car & driver' tour?

If it is, you would spend almost half your time driving.

Tour Of Rajasthan

No not in that order: this is the iteniary, flight from Goa to Mumbai, then flight from Mumbai to Udaipur for 2 nights, then road to Jodhpur via Ranikpur in Jodhpur for 2 nights then train to Bikaner 1 night then overnight train to Jaipur 2 nights then flight back to Goa via Mumbai.
Have not been told of the grade of hotels to be used until we get to Goa, but I expect 2 star and Im pretty sure we will have to look around for 4 or 5 star hotels to get any beer with our meals etc.

Try to get to know the names of the Hotels you will be staying at, We stopped at Ranikpur...not much there, there is a beautiful sikh temple but its a long way to go off route I would opt for an extra night in Udaipur if that is a stop over...we had a terrible night in Ranikpur ripped off with the hotel driver and hotel owner got there heads together,we think and charged us more than double for the room so post your hotels on the site and people will try to help you with their recommendations.

The Jain temple in RANAKPUR is one of the finest examples you'll find in India/world. With absolutely exquisite carvings which will leave you in awe of their workmanship,,,,,,,,,
