Pushkar feasible as a daytrip from Jaipur during the camel mela?
I have a narrow window during a business trip to India, that I'd love to get to the Pushkar camel mela during.
My idea is to fly in to Jaipur in the evening of Saturday Nov 13, and spend the night in Jaipur. Sunday morning I'd go Jaipur to Pushkar (bus I assume?), check out the camel mela, and make it back to Jaipur in time for a 7:55pm flight out Sunday night.
Is it feasible to visit Pushkar during the camel mela as a daytrip from Jaipur?
It's much more tight than I'd like of course! But when tacking on to a business trip you have to work with what you have. If there's any way to make it work that would be great -- I'd love to get to visit the camel mela!!
Thanks for your help!

The actual camel fair activities will not start until November 18although you may want to get there the day before to secure a room if you end up staying.
The dates of the camel fair activities are November 18-21.
It is not possible to do as a day trip from Jaipur. Too far away. You could easily do it as a day trip from Ajmer if you want to avoid the big crowds in Pushkar.

While the above might be true on some level of semantics that I'm not aware of, the festivities start days earlier than suggested. A look at the official programme found via google shows ceremonies and a camel race on 14 November, and a full schedule of events from that day on.

Pushkar is about 2 to 2-1/2 hour drive from Jaipur. On a normal day the traffic is bad, during the mela expect it to be worse. The operational logistics is not favourable for a day trip. Only religious activities begin from Nov 18th. Camel Race and Cattle Fair would start from Nov 14 onwards.
