Pushkar Camel Fair

I am arriving in Delhi on October 30th, and was thinking about attending the Pushkar Camel Fair October 31st through November 2nd. However, it seems that most people recommend attending at the beginning of the fair rather than the end.

Is it still worthwhile to attend if I can only catch the end of the fair?
What events/activities are going on at the fair on these dates?
Will all the camel trading be finished before I arrive?

pushkar fair is such a riot of colours, u are gonna love it...and yes it would be fully worthwhile to catch any part of the fair..only u should get some advance hotel booking as the prices of hotels go steep during the fair and it gets a bit difficult to get a nice accomodation...

it is definitely worthwhile to go, any date. The trading will take place till the end of the fair.

Pushkar fair is one of the most colorful fairs held in Rajasthan. You will get a chance to see beautifully decorated camels along with colorful people of Rajasthan.One can visit this vibrant event even in the last days of the fair.

Pushkar fair is starting from 28 Oct to 2 Nov 2009 and acticities is camel, horse racing, culture/folk rajasthani dances. Hotels are too expensive on that period. stay at camps with attched bath and running water. you will enjoy i m sure of that. when 2006 i was also there and realy enjoyed.
