Does anyone know what the price should be for a standard (Cheap) room in Pushkar, during the camel fair? I found a place on line; The White House and they said $6.00 a night. This just seems to be be way too cheap. Unless it's a real dump. Could someone let me know prices, if they know. Plus, if you've stayed at The White House let me know. Thank you. DouglasT.

Hotel White House *snip* Hotel White House (( 72147), north of the lake, is an appealing place with fine views from the rooftop restaurant. Rooms cost Rs 80/150 with common bath and Rs 200/300 with private bath. Their mango tea is refreshing

been looking at accomodation as well - and most of the places tend to be 10x the price mentioned in the LP. If you can get a room locked in at $6 a night do it. But somehow i think this might be an oversite on their part.

I imagine this is the normal tarriff of the White House. Expect prices to multiply at least 5 fold during the Camel Fair!!

We stayed at White House in 2002. Nice place. We payed 250 for double private bath in the off season. During the camel fair, prices will go up A LOT. joe b.
