| Photography and travel I spent a couple of weeks in Rajasthan in the late 80s (travelled as family), and am returning for 4 weeks from late Oct. I'm keen to visit some of my old favourites, and get to others that I missed out. My partner (who's never been) is more keen to stay put in one place where there aren't too many tourists, get into the groove of local life and take photos. A guesthouse, family hotel would be great. The compromise is that we do a bit of town hopping, and also find somewhere to stay put for a couple of weeks. Any suggestions of towns that would fit the bill? Recommendations of places to stay would be great as well - especially atmospheric havelis! |
