paragliding near Jaisalmer

Does anyone have contact details for paragliding and skydiving courses between the Sam Sand dunes and Jaisalmer? We came across a retired Indian airforce colonel while driving through the desert and had a wonderful experience flying over the desert. We have unfortunately lost his contact details to pass on to friends. Can highly recommend this experience if any of you get the chance, a real highlight of our trip.

I would be surprised paragliding or skydiving were allowed near Jaisalmer, despite it's distance from the Pakistan border, I can't see the military allowing it.

EDIT NOTE I've just re-read your post and realise that you've already done it, I am surprised.

We came across a similar company offering paragliding,They are about 30km out of Jaisalmer on the way to Sam. They tend to set-up every afternoon to catch the passing tourist vehicles heading out for the sunset.
I seem to remember it was something like Rps 750 for 15mins.,,,,,,

I dont suppose the group offering the paragliding were official, probably not even legal, but it was a n amazing experience. I am sure I would never have gone ahead in a similar setup in the uk but something happened to my normally very finely tuned sense of survival while I was in India and I took more risks than normal. It was probably due to having survived on the mad roads and feeling that nothing else would hurt me - what was I thinking?
