New Years Eve in Udaipur - Suggestions?

Hi,

We'll be spending NYE in Udaipir. Does anyone have any good suggestions on what may be good to do? I think any events at the palaces would obviously be too expensive.

Also what would Jodhpur be like on NYE?

Udai Kothi (spelling?) has a nice rooftop restaurant with a lit up pool (small and tasteful). It is not near the splurge of the palace's for dinner. When we were there there was live music and a magical atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, and again, without the prices of the palaces.
