New Years Eve in Jaisalmer(sorry for the repost)
Anyone interested in joining a New Years eve soiree ? As it stands now, we don't have a clue what time we get into town( still on the fence about training it or a car for hire) anywho, I think 7-8ish should work for a meeting time for dinner or whatever else comes to mind. any suggestions for venues? i just sent an email to confirm a room at the Shahi Palace from a thread I read a few mintues ago,so perhaps the rooftop restaurant there may work for a starting place.

Yeah, I'll definitely be posting if I can figure out the internet cafes there.

I stayed at shahi palace last month and saw some photos of a christmas safari from last year.
You could choose to spend the night under the great starry sky in the desert. |

Moonlit New Year suggestion
thank you for the suggestion.!!!! that sounds lovely. I don't think we will be there in time, but I will run it past my other travel partners!!! Are you going to be there during the holidays?? It would be nice to get a group of guys and gals together, but thus far, it only appears as though women are interested in meeting up for an Indian New Year celebration.
Cheers, Shari |
