need to book hotels in Rajasthan?
i'm off to Rajastan with my partner for a week or two in late January. Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer.. Ranthambore if it's open.
any hints on whether it's necessary to book a hotel or should i just roll up and play it by ear? ta jules Last edited by machadinha : Dec 21st, 2006 at 11:08. Reason: mobed to rajasthan forum, corrected title |

Hi
I am not sure when the desert festival is - sometime in January or February so you would be wise to check this out and book for dates that coincide with this. Otherwise there is usually plenty of accomodation around but it depends where you want to stay. Your first choice may get booked up. Having said that if you use the recommendations on this website you are likely to get much better deals and hotels than if you use Lonely Planet. Sarah
