Nagaur Cattle Fair - travelling from Jaipur

We've realized that the Nagaur Cattle Fair will take place during some days we are booked in Jaipur.

How long do you think it would take to go by car from Jaipur to Nagaur?

Or - is there a way to do it by train?

Is it a plausible day trip, supposing an early departure, or do you think it would only make sense to stay overnight somewhere around Nagaur?

I know the fair gets discussed from time to time, search the site for "nagaur." There's some good threads on it I think.

Thanks, I have found some good threads on it but none that answer these specific questions - how long would it take to drive from Jaipur? etc. I will keep looking though.

What I've read her so far basically confirms my interest in getting there if possible.
