naag panchami in jodhpur - fear of snakes
Hi
Has anyone been in Jodhpur during naag panchmi? The reason I ask is that ive just worked out that according to my current itinerary, I plan on being in Jodhpur when naag panchmi falls next year, and it just so happens that im just a bit squeamish around snakes Can you tell me if I would be likely to come across snakes at this time, or would I be able to avoid them and still manage to see all the sites? Thanks ![]() |

Hi,
Naag Panchami is celebrated in temples only in and around Jodhpur, no demonstrations or mela with snakes on the streets. People feel lucky to have snake darshan(see) on this day. Happy Travel |
