I am still plannig my trip to India and I am looking for interesting places to see. I have recently read something about Mandalgarh and Bijolia. And I would like to know are these cities are worth to see? I will visit Kota/Bundi/ Jhalawar and I think by the way to Chittorgarh maybe I could see Mandalgarh and Bijolia? Hi
Quote:
I think those places are not worth to spent time there, instead you can always see other places, They have a fort but thats also not worth to see. If you are plannning Rajasthan.. i would suggest you to go 1. Udaipur 2. Pushkar 3. Ajmer 4. Jodhpur 5. Jaisalmer 6. Chittorgarh 7. Ranakpur 8. Bikaner 9. Jaipur Apart from these there are lot of places to go.. if you have plenty of time else you let me know the number of days and i will suggest how you can manage it. |

Great!!
Hi, I am writing my comments in front of your each day plan:
I am just expressing my openion here, because i have lived in Rajasthan for 22 years, so just putting up my comments: 1) Arrival day 2) vivisitng Dehli (if you really wanna see delhi make it atleast two days) 3/4 Jaipur (Dont miss Amer)--- perfect 5/6 Ajmer/ Pushkar--- perfect 7/8/9 Bundi Kota Jhalawar (Dont know why you going there/ Bundi i hope you will find nice because some ther people did, rest Kota has a Dam and Jhalawar never heard as a tourist place) 10 Chittorgarh (there is fort which you can visit in half day and go to udaipur same day - no need of one day) 11 Udaipur -- Beautiful city, would require atleast two days to cover all points, City Palace, lakes and other things.. 12 Mt Abu.. its a Hill station.. you will like it though.. very nice.. would need two days.. 13 Ranakpur -- Just a temple and nothing else there (half day) 14Natwdara/ Eklingji .. just a temple and city u can roam in but half day.. is enough 15 Jodhpur-- Perfect 16 Jodhpur/ Mandore --Perfect 17 Osiyan 18 Jaisalmer-- would require two days.. 19 Bikaner-- half day* Not sure (Just a fort) 20 Madawa/ fatehpur 21 Nawalgarh -- I dont know what is there 22 back to Jaipur - travel do Agra 23 Agra 24 Fatehpur Sikri/ Vrindavan 25 Gwalior 26 Orchha 27 Khajuraho 28 Varanasi Let me know how you are travelling so that i can suggest (if you want to) short or better connectivity trip. Hope it Helps!! |

Hi,
You can visit Bijoliya while moving from Bundi to chittor.Bijoliya has 3 temples of tenth century.i havent been there but the by the information I have gathered It must be good place to spent few hours. You can combine Kumbhalgarh with ranakpur its definately much more atmospheric then mandalgarh. Osian/Nawalgarh/Madawa/Orrcha/Sikri are be the most interesting places in your visit. You are definately going to enjoy them . happy journey
