Exclamation Major fire in Jaipur IOC Fuel depot - people evacuated, at least 5 killed

This is for people visiting Jaipur in a couple of days or who're already in/around Jaipur.

There is a major fire at the IOC (Indian Oil Corp. Ltd) fuel depot, which has taken a death toll of at least 5 people, and approx 150 has been reported injured.

The bits that I saw on TV were horrendous. Army has been called in and though 40+ fire engines have been called in, given the fire, they should be inadequate at the least

The Oil Corp directors are on the way, which, of course, wouldn't help much. As per some TV reports that I heard, IOC officials are expecting serious death tolls, which have not yet been revealed or confirmed.

The news can be followed in Google. Some of the links below:

Dreadful thing to happen, and if 150 people were injured, we can expect the death toll to rise.

Cannot help wondering about the standard of the safety systems / procedures that were in place.

From a report that I saw on TV today, the air around is obviously obnoxious - in fact till quite a few KMs in open eyes . And seems it's still raging.

Lot of people apparently reported asthmatic attacks.

Sorry that I can't lookup any link to substantiate the above.
