Mahendra Prakash vs. Wonder View in Udaipur

I'll be staying in Udaipur for three nights at the end of the month. I am trying to decide between Mahendra Prakash Hotel and Wonder View. Has anyone stayed at either one of these places recently? Everything I have found on here is from a while back. I understand that the Wonder View is on the lake and can provide lake views, and Mahendra Prakash does not. I'm more concerned about the condition of the rooms (and bathrooms), value for the money, etc. Any advice?

A year ago we stayed some time in Mahendra Prakesh and it was of the best hotels in our three months trip. They have a closed garden with a clean swimming pool.

Two years ago stayed four nights in Mahendra Prakash and as Vonkla says is a great place. Even the cheaper rooms are good, though no lake views but the bazaars of the old city are not far away. In the morning is nice to walk to the lake but in the evening is harder. I'll be in Udaipur next July/August and I'm not sure if I'll stay again in Mahendra, but I think so.
