Libraries to visit in Rajasthan ;)
Does anyone have any off hand knowledge of any interesting libraries to visit (that are open to the general public) in Rajastan? We will be visiting all the major cities (Delhi, Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur).
Many Thanks in advance! |

Hi,
Do not forget to visit Library at Shri Bhadariyaji, Tehsil Pokaran, Distt-Jaislmer, The temple has played a great role in preserving customs and traditions of the Shakta cult. Just by this temple, world's biggest desert University has been built with the objective of making the learners self independent and eco-friendly. They will be given education to be competent to have self constructing the world's biggest library here. This library should also be made for wide publicity of this temple. |

Not the world's biggest library - it's supposed to be the biggest in Asia. And a place I keep meaning to visit! If you come to Jaisalmer there is a library in Hanuman Choraha - most books are in Hindi, but there is a cupboard of English novels etc.! Does Jodhpur have a library, Desertrose?
