Jodhpur question - Durag Niwas Guest House

It seems this Jodphur hotel is a bit out of the way. Has anybody stayed here? Is it a pain walking into the old city?

The place gets rave reviews and looks like it would help my budget a lot.

It's a nice play to stay and the owner Govind is really friendly and helpfull.

Walking into town is possible but may be a bit far, but a rikshaw will set you back only 30 rs or so.

Thanks. I'm thinking we might just pony up for the Haveli Guest House. We're traveling with my toddler son and I'd like to be able to pop in and out without losing time in a rickshaw. Are the fort views pretty good?

yes, as is the fort (walking up with the kid will be a bit too much though, walking down is a possibility).
