Jodhpur - Marwar Festival in October

Im thinking of being in Jodhpur during the Marwar Festival, which will supposedly be extended by a Folk Fair this year.

Any input by people who have been in the past?

The Jodhpur Rajasthan International Folk Festival takes place from 25th to 29th Oct at the Mehrangarh Fort. It will have ticketed entry. See http://www.jodhpurfolkfestival.org/

This is the first year for the international folk festival. The Marwar Festival has previously shown mostly maand and other Jodhpur folk/classical folk traditions. This time they are expanding to other Rajasthan folk & bringing in international folk performers to provide some fusion music too.
