| how to go from udaipur-jodhpur? I know these two cities have no train service to connect them. Is an overnight bus a sensible option, or will it be the ride from hell? |

| Overnight bus is the only option.Its definately not ride from hell. You can visit ranakpur midway to Jodhpur when travelling from Rajasthan Roadways.

| Udaipur - Jopdhpur is a six hours journey in bus....easily manageable...nothing tough....
