Hotel Tulsi Palace - Pushkar
Hi to all you IndiaMikers
I am looking for information - or even just an email - for Hotel Tulsi Palace in Pushkar. I read a travel blog that raved about it and included pictures and it seemed like just the place I'd like to stay at over Holi. However, upon searching for it wide and far through cyber space, I have encounted zilch. Only results that come up are from a similar named place in Udaipur. Any help would be much appreciated |

I was in Pushkar for a few weeks (got sick and stayed there) and never saw Hotel Tulsi Palace.
I stayed at Hotel Bharatpur Palace, which was very nice and comfortable; it's above the lake and not far from the Brahma Temple and price was very reasonable. Do note that puja begins at 5am, and if you're near the lake, it will serve as an early alarm clock.

Thanks for the word about the early morning Puja.. yes Hotel Bharatpur Palace is the major other place I was looking at to stay in.. I was a bit put off though with all the 'filthy/stinky' ratings it seems to have received on a lot of sites.. however I must keep in mind that it's all a matter of relativity.. and which room you get!
But since your experience only seems to have been positive, I will certainly keep it in mind! |
