Hotel advice for Mt Abu over Christmas?
Hi everyone,
We're planning to spend three nights in Mt Abu over Christmas so we'd like to stay somewhere nice. The LP reccomendations for Connaught House and the Palace Hotel seem good but I'm struggling to find any reviews to help me decide. If you've had experience here or elsewhere in Mt Abu and can help out with a recommendation that'd be great. We're a couple, early thirties, and happy to spend up to $80Aus/night. We're going to Mt Abu to relax for a few days so we want somewhere we can sleep in, laze around and take it easy etc. Thanks in advance, Ang |

Best hotel in Mount Abu........
Hi,
Best option is Jaipur House ( palace Hotel) Owned by present Royal family of Jaipur. No doubt this is best place to stay in Mount Abu. Second best option is Bikaner house in Mount Abu. I hope this information will help you. Bue. rajuindia |

The road that connects Udaipur & Mt Abu is very bad. Take a train from Jodhpur to Abu road and then 1 hour on road from Abu Road to Mt Abu

Connaught House
Connaught House...
Yes, the roads from Udaipur are brutal. We made the run up the mountain in the dark. Terrifying actually. I wuld certainly recomend the train. We stayed here in January, 0˚C... Very unique. Withn walking distance to town. Amazing place, Mt. Abu... Don't miss the Jain temples.. Or the sunsets.
