Horse safari in Udaipur - anyone been?
Hi all,
Myself and a friend are looking at horse safari's in Udaipur, they look ok from the websites. I have found Princess trails and Krishna ranch that both do horse riding activities. Anyone done one previously, recommended? The Krishna ranch looks to be cheaper than the princess trails. We would be doing this in January, so I guess it will be pretty damn cold at night.

Yes, Anouk. Check out her posts on riding in this area, she's very knowledgeable.

Just wanted to update on my Udaipur riding experience. I decided to go with Princess trails for a day ride (thanks Anouk!), and had SUCH a fantastic time!! Ute was great -very friendly and knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora. It was soooo enjoyable and great value for money. I'm going to go back and do a longer safari! WOOT WOOT!!!
If anyone can recommend any other areas in India that offer some decent companies to ride with I'd love to know so I can plan my next 3 days off!! ![]() |

I paid rs2500 for the full day, which included pickup around 730 am and drop back to hotel around 4pm. also included water, fruits and some lunch -aloo paratha
Had some friend got there a few weekends ago and think for 2 people 3hrs or so ride was around rs3000 in total They are very quick to reply, so any questions you have just shoot them an email! Happy riding! ![]() |
