car and driver from Udaipur?

hi everyone!

Going to India in August for 3 weeks. Flying into Delhi then train to agra and varanasi. Flying to udaipur and then hoping to get car and driver around usual rajistan cities on tourist route ending in delhi.
Any recommendations for car and driverin udaipur? Do you think they will have plenty to choose from?

p.s - anyone know how easy it is to get from the airport into the city?

If you hire a cab in Udaipur and end your trip in Delhi you will have to pay for Delhi-Udaipur return trip too.
So it is better to end your tour in Udaipur and take an overnight train to Delhi.
There are many tour operators in Udaipur. Check rates, check the condition of the car and the driver's ability to converse in English.

Taxies are easily available in any cities of Rajasthan near vicinity of hotels, railway station and bus station.

Try to think over the spots you like to go from Udaipur and then you can talk to taxi driver on any taxi stand.

The economical taxi for upto 4 people will be Tata Indica car as it is on diesel and rate per Km is also comparatively cheaper.

Kindly ask the driver before if you would like to go for Air conditioned taxi.

Regarding language i think every driver in city can at least speak english like hit and trial way.

For any kind of guidance most welcome.
I am living in Pushkar Town and if you happen to pass through will be nice to have chai in my house.
