Awful Choice! Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer

Realistically, I think I can only travel to two of the above. Which is preferable?

Which so little information it is impossible to give an accurate advise.

Have a look at some of the ideas in the thread How to get the most out of the Itinerary section.

For a total contrast I would say Udaipur & Jaisalmer.
Udaipur has lakes, mountains, palaces and greenery ... and is good for the soul.
Jaisalmer is wondefully exotic ...like something out of the Arabian Nights and is in the middle of the desert.

I agree with Helena3.

If I had to choose only two, I would have gone for Udaipur & Jaisalmer.....

Hi,

I would suggest Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. Jodhpur for the food and Jaisalmer for the feel. Udaipur is over rated compared to these two.

My friend who went to Kumbalgarh says it's missable, so mixed opinions here! I'm going with Jaisalmer and Udaipur too and suggest you hire a car so that you can see Ranakpur at the least, and Jodhpur Fort, on the way between the two places.
