| Alwar?? I will have a gap from a night train in Jaisalmer until I get to Delhi. I am thinking about spending time in Alwar...is this a good town to stop in, or should I spend the time in another city along the way to Delhi? I am debating whether to see Alwar or see Jaipur again--probably Amber fort. (I will be in Jaipur for one day en route to Jaisalmer) |

| I think Amber Fort is more interesting than what's in Alwar. There is also more to see & do in Jaipur, if you feel like it. Just my opinion. I thought Alwar wasn't much but I was only there for 1/2 day. Perhaps someone else feels the opposite and will add to this thread. |

 | jaipur has the points in compare to alwar. plenty of monuments but the one mentioned by you a place should be given a visit if you are in jaipur. |
