5 Days Rajasthan trip (18th-23 Sept)
Dear Friends,
Me and my wife have planned a 5 day trip to rajasthan, I have booked the flights Mumbai - Jodhpur -Mumbai ( As i was getting reward tickets from jet airways )
18 Sept Mumbai Jodhpur (Ariving 8 AM)
23 Sept Jodhpur Mumbai (Leaving 12:30 PM).
We would like to cover these cities if possible - Jaisalmer,Jaipur,Udaipur or Bikaner. and would also like to visit .
Please suggest itenaries for this trip , and i would also like to know how should we travel for sightseeing and within city. Should we hire cab all the way from jodhpur - jodhpur for 5 days ?
Any suggestion of hotel with medium budget will also be helpfull
Thanks

I rarely say this but It is not possible. Please check distances on google maps and post the ones you think are absolute must, I'd say Jodhpur+Udaipur is your best bet in this season. Form a sample itinerary for others to provide useful comments. Yes, you'd have to hire a car with this kind of timeframe.
I somewhat agree with the other posters. I think seeing only 2 places would be best. I think you're underestimating the travel time in India! Plus, there's so many things to see and do in each of those cities that if you just rush through them, you'll end up seeing nothing. We have been to Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jailsalmer, Mumbai and Jaipur. Jodhpur (the blue city) is amazing, the fort there is spectacular. Jailsalmer is stunning, the desert and fort there is also amazing. Jaipur (the pink city) is also a great city with lots of ancient temples and sights to see. Udaipur is the white city and is also beautiful - however, it doesn't have as many sights to see in my opinion. Mumbai is a cool city as well. So there you have it: 5 stunning Indian cities and only 5 days to see them in. I would suggest seeing Mumbai, plus one more - 2 more if you're pushing it.
Enjoy India and all it has to offer. Safe Travels.
