10 Days Trip Covering Rajasthan

Hi All,

One of my friend with his bunch of 4 people is actually wanting to do a 10 days trip [between 10th & 20th January] to Rajasthan and they are traveling there for the first time .

He wanted to cover most of the places and his list was quite big. I had actually planned an itinerary taking his inputs into consideration.

I would require your at most valuable suggestions for the same. Do u think it is doable in the stipulated time frame/ or do think some places in this list would be avoided if there is a repetition in places to be seen within.

The Itinerary planned is as follows:

Day 1 Delhi- Agra (Agra Sight Seeing) Overnight Stay @ Agra
Day 2 Agra - Jaipur Overnight Stay @ Jaipur
Day 3 Jaipur Sight Seeing Overnight Stay @ Jaipur
Day 4 Jaipur-Udaipur Overnight Stay @ Udaipur
Day 4 Udaipur Sight seeing Overnight Stay @ Udaipur
Day 5 Udaipur- Mt Abu via Rankpur Overnight Stay @ Mt Abu
Day 6 Mt Abu-Jodhpur Overnight Stay @ Jodhpur
Day 7 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer via Osiyan Overnight Stay @Jaisalmer
Day 8 Jaisalmer - Bikaner Overnight Stay @ Bikaner
Day 9 Bikaner- Delhi

It's doable if not really enjoyable. It doesn't seem like there is much time in Jaisalmer at least that is my thought looking at the itenerary. I would think about dropping one place perhaps to make for a little more leaisure. I hope they will have a little time to spend with you in Delhi? At any rate, I think it will be all right. They may need a vacation after their vacation to recover though !

Do u think i should take Bikaner out of the itinerary, are there anything good enough to make a trip !!! Take Bikaner out and adjust it to make an additional day at Jaisalmer !!!

Yes, I was actually going to suggest dropping Bikaner but I wasn't sure if there was something there special they wanted to see. I also thought you may be driving in which case it may be on the way. But I think they will appreciate having another day in Jaisalmer.
