Solo woman, Chandigarh and surrounding areas

Hi there. I will be arriving in Chandigarh evening of 9 March. Can anyone recommend a good place for a woman travelling on her own, where I can also get some laundry done as I'll have been travelling about quite a bit. I'd like to get a bit of shopping done as well as see some places. The places I want to visit are Mansa Devi, Naina Devi, Chandi Mandir and Kalka ji. I have until evening of 11 March to do these, after which I'd like to take a night train/bus to Delhi. Can anyone help me with accommmodation choices, itinerary and travel options bearing in mind that I'll be travelling solo. Also I don't really want to be lugging all my luggage around and would like to leave it somewhere safe.
