Shifting to Punjab

Hello Guys,

I am shifting to Amritsar for 8 months. GOing there tommorrow. Need a room for six months if there is any room please PM me.

Also I wish to know what do in Amritsar.

A few general suggestions:

1. Do not rent a room sight unseen, quality and amenities may vary a lot.

2. Stay in a hotel for a few days during your search. You may need to hire a realtor to assist you. Do not advance any money till you thoroughly inspect the premises.

3. What to do in Amritsar? Goto Golden Temple two times a day. Eat dhabba food, cheap and good. Take in a Ballywood movie if all else fails. Goto the bazaars, plenty of entertainment just walking around. Try some Indian sweets, check out the colleges and universities. Take a weekend trip to Dharmsala.
