Amritsar Accommodation

Planning to go to amritsar for one night and two days on 11th Sept. Need some information on:
1. A decent hotel. Budget not more than Rs. 1000/-

2. What else to do in Amritsar besides Wagah border, Jalianwalah Bagh and wagah border.

You missed Golden temple. Golden temple and Jaliawalah bagh is near by.

There is some whole sale market of readymade garments and wollen clothes ( I don't rember the name now).

You can easily get room for rs 800 (decent one)

You can also stay in Golden Temple too.

There are several hotels on Queen's Road, opposite the train station, between INR 650 to 1200. Such as the Shiraz Regency and Grand Hotel.
